Mummy Day Care School in Serrekunda

The Mummy Day Care (preschool children age) is owned and operated by Mrs Jallow (the current Head Teacher for the Nursery School) and is based in Serrekunda, a short distance from the Nursery School in Sukuta. It is on the compound where Mrs Jallow lives. The charity, Build a School in Gambia, have helped to bring the school back into working order as it was previously closed down due to not being fit for purpose. The charity therefore upgraded the toilet facilities, and generally upgraded the whole building. BASIG also  provided new desks and chairs for the Mummy Daycare Nursery in 2014. The Charity improved conditions for this important facility and the children have been progressing well.
