The Race Night proved to be another great success for the BASIG charity. The evening was held at Whatfield Village Hall and the venue lent itself well to the event due to it having a fully loaded bar (!) and a stage for the large racing screen. It was a superb atmosphere and everyone enjoyed the evening with lots of noise cheering on their horses/donkeys and Afghan hounds …yes, that isn’t a typo!
Over £1000 was raised for our worthy cause – that is just a fantastic amount and it makes such a difference to the lives of the children at the schools. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event and a special thank you to Helen and Karen, who once again made the event a great success.
